2013, September 13th. Friday. Port Orford, Oregon.
The weather has been a bit off lately. Monster activity is heightened today, as expected. Nothing else is out of the ordinary.
Killed a shape-shifter. It had taken the form of a local saleman and went killing people in their homes. I tried one copper and one gold bullet but it didn't have desired affect. One silver bullet worked fine. How come silver works and not its fellow Group 11 elements is a mystery. I need to conduct more research in this area.
And it was a shame on such a pretty gold bullet.
I talked to a woman whose husband had been a victim by the shapeshifter. She accepted the cover story: a serial killer on the loose had finally been captured in the area. She was very shaken up. I recommended her to talk about it with a close friend and explained that her husband had gotten the justice he deserved. She seemed to be slightly better. I should check in on her the next time I'm in town.
Oh, I also had dinner at a really good italian restaurant. It's called Ringo's, right on the corner next to the motel. I need to return to it if I'm in the area again.
Statistics note; 1 Shapeshifter. Tried 1 Cu blt and 1 Au blt, no effect. 1 Ag blt worked as expected.
